"Kimberly led our Steadfast Ministry Summit this year (2024) in Charleston, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment she arrived, her warmth and approachability made everyone feel at ease. Kimberly is not only a true expert in her field, but she also has a genuine passion for helping ministry leaders grow in emotional strength and resilience. Her sessions were filled with insightful, practical advice that we could start using right away. It’s clear that Kimberly has a real heart for this work, and her dedication to supporting others shines through in everything she does. We couldn’t have asked for a better leader for our summit!"

"The retreat really transformed my understanding of the many parts that make up the whole me. The weekend was filled with eye-opening lessons to assist in my day-to-day living. For instance, I learned that it’s okay for me to take care of me when I hurt, and to not just push through as I have in the past. I always believed God was present; however, at this retreat, I learned it’s okay to ask for more because I needed more. Since the retreat, I’ve gotten more from God because I asked, and I owe that to the teachings I learned that wonderful weekend with a group of supportive people willing to take the journey with me. Thank you, Kim, for sharing your gift with me and, now, the world."

Using a Christian approach to the evidence-based Internal Family Systems (IFS) model represents a spiritual and psychological frontier. It’s biblical, simple, and—best of all—it works.

"You equipped me to handle whatever I may be feeling, and to be confident that I don't have to be afraid of my strong emotions. Since hearing you speak, I’ve learned to say 'no' without coming across as harsh or unkind. You offer a fantastic blend of academic and spiritual truth, which brought me to a new place in my relationship with God.”

"I first heard the authors on Dr. Alison Cook’s podcast, and was struck by the peace and joy they both exhibited. They were talking about really hard things, but they were hopeful. I had to know how they did that. So, I listened to this audiobook of Boundaries for Your Soul in one weekend. There were so many practical exercises that I bought the printed version as well. My biggest takeaway is that emotions are no longer enemies. I was afraid to let the overwhelming emotions be expressed because I thought I would be unable to process them. This book helped me see how I could kindly ask my emotions to take a step back, even a tiny step, and let me get a better perspective. It is now my go-to guide when I need to understand what I’m feeling. Thank you, Kimberly! Thank you, Alison! I’m so grateful. 🙏🏼

The retreat was so lovely. The setting was so peaceful and inspiring. I gained a greater awareness of the whole picture of who I am in Christ. I found camaraderie with myself and the Holy Spirit, as well as with other women that are celebrating who they are in Christ. Jesus revealed Himself as bigger than I could have imagined, and I am so grateful. The retreat was so transformative! Kim, Ann-Marie, Lauren, Melissa, Kellie, Shari, and others, thank you!"
